The harvest was postponed to September 22nd and 23rd due to particularly rainy and humid September days that threatened to jeopardize what seemed like a perfect production. What survived the unexpected and challenging early autumn weather was expressed in a wine of value and quality after maceration on the skins for six months prior to aging.
